Making a Difference in Our Community: Upcoming Food Drive
We are thrilled to share the news of our upcoming food drive to support Harvest of Hope Food Pantry, which will be happening from December 4th to December 15th. This drive is an exceptional opportunity for our community to unite and make an incredible impact.
Why a Food Drive?
At our shop, we are passionate about serving our community in various ways, and that's why we are excited to host this Food Drive. We believe in the importance of embodying the spirit of our community to create a positive impact. The drive will have a significant impact on our local food banks, which play a crucial role in providing relief to families and individuals facing different forms of food insecurity.
How You Can Help
You can assist us in this worthwhile cause by participating in our food drive and also by helping us to share the news of the food drive on social media, in your local community groups, and with friends and family.
How to Donate
We aim to make the donation process easy and convenient for you, which is why we are providing two ways for you to participate.
1) We have placed a donation box in our shop, giving you the ability to donate non-perishable items that are in high demand and provide essential nutrition to those who receive them, like:
- Shelf-stable milk and alternative milks
- Baby formula and food
- Canned chicken, meats and tuna
- Pasta and canned meals with meat
- Healthy snacks
- Healthy breakfast options
- Bottled water
- Menstrual hygiene products
- Dental hygiene products
- Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
- Deodorant
- Disposable razors
- Hand warmers
- Sunscreen
2) You can make a donation online. We know that it's not always easy to collect canned goods and pantry staples and bring them into our drop-off box, so you can also participate via the virtual food drive by visiting the Harvest of Hope Virtual Food Drive or by scanning the QR code above. These financial donations will allow Hope Pantry to buy the food they need most, perishable items like fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy. Hope Pantry is able to turn every dollar donated into $8 of food! It's a fantastic and modern way to make a difference.
