Any of the following symptoms may be an indication of brake problems. If you notice one (or more), it’s a good idea to get your brakes inspected as soon as possible:
- Pulling to one side when braking
- Soft brake pedal
- Brake pedal pulsates
- Brakes make scraping or grinding noise
- More pressure than normal required to stop
- Noise when brakes are applied
- Brakes drag when foot is off the pedal
Brake noise is not always indicative of a problem but should be inspected as a precaution.
