I have an old truck that constantly needs work. They are great with every issue that comes up and they give warning of issues to come. Excellent communication, fair pricing, quick work, friendly employees. I trust them completely and will always bring my vehicle here and recommend everyone does the same!

There's a reason that Pellman's has the highest star rating in Boulder. They feel like a great old-timey honest garage that you can trust. Our little family had both of our cars refuse to start on the same day and Pellman's came through to get my wife back on the road in time for her work the next day. Their system for communicating with the customers vie email or text makes things very smooth and when you call them for an update (and you're frazzled from juggling a baby and no working cars), they're great at talking you through it. I'm very glad that our family found the mechanics we'll use for the rest of our time in Boulder. Two thumbs way up for Pellman's

I am a huge fan of Pellman's Automotive! I have been taking my vehicle there for maintenance and repairs for several years now. They are really good at explaining mechanics to a lay person, and they also give their customers an electronic report (with photos) after each service. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage me, as they don't push non-urgent repairs. The office staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have shuttle service and bikes to borrow. I have referred friends to Pellman's, and they have also been very happy with the service!

The people at Pellman's have always been very friendly and knowledgeable. They take advantage of an online system that gives me a lot of information about what they did.The shop itself is also a spacious and pleasant place. Not like the small, gritty spaces that some repair shops have.

I have had my car serviced here twice and I truly can say that I have been pleased with the work both times. The staff is friendly, communicative and goes above and beyond. I will continue to come here for future repairs and I would truly recommend Pellman's Automotive to anyone in need of these services.

Quick to respond and open to using my preferred method of communication while my car was in the shop. I was easily able to speak to them through email, text and phone calls depending on where I was throughout the day. Everyone was completely upfront about costs and did not pressure me into unnecessary repairs or improvements. They were also very understanding that I couldn't address all of the issues found on my current budget. They even gave me a report after inspections detailing any problem areas with photographs and a brief explanation. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the customer service and the work they did while my car was in their shop.

I came to Pellman's when my check engine came on after driving 1,000 miles to Boulder from the Midwest. A quick look showed that I was overdue for an oil change, and they promised to get me in that morning -- I had to leave for the return journey that day. While changing the oil, their inspection revealed some other, serious issues with my car. Namely, a leaking front strut and loose ball joint. It wouldn't have been safe to make the journey back with the state of the suspension. During the whole process, George (my service advisor) kept me informed while I killed some time in town. He gave me updates on the status of my car, as they came, and laid out my options and the technical aspects of the repair in layman's terms. They managed to get my car done that same day before close. Even though it was a bummer to have to sink a day and a chunk of money into my car, it was all worth it after I made the drive back home without a hitch. I feel like I understand my car a little better after this experience at Pellman's, and I appreciate their willingness to host me, and offer a loaner bike for my extra day in Boulder. Thanks guys!

A repair shop I trust. I was there years ago when Brad first opened his own shop. He's built a great team. They care about their customers and it shows.

I have been there only once and I had a great service. I needed to change my transmission fluid and I went there to do it. They checked the car and confirmed that my transmission fluid needs to be changed and said that I have less fluid in my car. They asked me to leave it with them and pick up later but I was driving to Aspen that day so I couldn’t. I overheard the person who was helping me talking to the owner in his office asking him if they can get it done fast. I was really amazed by the owner’s reply. He told him that they can’t get it done in that day but they didn’t want me to drive on low fluid, so he told him to top the transmission fluid with some extra as a temporary support and they will work on the car when I get back. They did that for free in addition to changing some fuses in the car. Further more, when I eventually went there after I got back to get the service done, they told me that it will cost about $250, but when I went to pick it up, they only charged me about $200 saying that my car did not need fluid as much as expected. Very honest and truthful service that makes you comfortable dealing with them. Thank you!

I've been going to Pellman's since I moved to Boulder 7 years ago. They extremely knowledgeable, honest, and do great work. Many times Dan has told me that I don't have to do a certain maintenance and it can wait. I also love that they have shuttle service.

I brought my Nissan into Pellman's when I had noticed several problems within the engine's performance. The primary problem involved a very subtle issue within the ignition system. I was very favorably impressed with the expertise of the staff at Pellman's in correctly diagnosing and repairing the original problem as well as identifying and fixing 2 other issues within the ignition system that definitely required immediate repair. I found the staff at Pellman's to be honest, and very competent. As a person who had recently moved to the Boulder, CO area, I was grateful to find an auto repair shop with staff who were trustworthy and competent. The competency of the staff at Pellman's has ensured that I will be taking my personal vehicle to them in the future as a loyal customer. My personal experience would also warrant that I would strongly recommend Pellman's to another person who wishes to deal with both competent and honest staff at an auto repair facility. I would personally like to thank the staff at Pellman's for their competency and professionalism.

Nice people who likely do great work. But it is definitely over priced like most auto places. They were going to charge me 294 for a part and another 160-175 for labor to install said part. I was able to find the part I needed at Oriley for 162 bucks with all the same warranty and it took me (someone who knows a bit about cars and minor repairs) 15-20min to pull the old part and get the new one in. It is a shame because I live close and this was my first attempt to find a good auto place that doesn't find a way to get every last dime out of a job. Again very nice people but definitely overpriced. I suggest looking around and pricing things out. If your in a hurry to get a job done they will do it right and in a timely manner just know you will likely be paying a bit more. (Since the comment they posted) First off I knew what parts were causing the problem and they still charged me 64 dollars to do a diagnostic which I thought included way more than it did. Secondly my car is a very basic 2007 jeep so there is not that much "new" technology in it at all. And third, no way should any auto place charge $100+ more on a part than you can get yourself very easily not to mention upwards of $160 in labor for a 15 minute and likely much less for an experienced mechanic. Sure they are nice and do good work hence 2 stars instead of 1 star but that isn't worth paying well over 300 dollars for a job that takes them 10 minutes. To break down the cost, it was going to be over $500 ($504) for a job that cost me $163 for the part and 15 min of my time. Just do your research.
