Pellman’s Automotive is a family owned and operated automotive repair shop. We are proud of our reputation for providing outstanding auto repair and maintenance and work every day to go above and beyond in everything we do. MEET THE PELLMANS

Lisa, a third generation Coloradoan, was born and raised in Boulder and met Brad, who grew up in Longmont, while in high school. Brad always had an affinity for cars and worked a variety of jobs in the automotive industry starting at the age of 15. After a few years in college, Brad realized that his true passion was helping people with their cars. So in 1995, they launched Pellman’s Automotive and committed themselves to building a high quality automotive repair business that addressed the needs of their customers. Pellman’s started out small – with just two employees (Brad and Lisa!) and one bay. Over the years their shop has grown to the 18 employee shop it is today.


As their shop became successful, they started devoting time to improving the automotive repair industry and have both served on regional and national industry boards and councils. Brad was on the ASA Colorado Board from 2010 to 2019 and served as the Chairman for 5 years. Brad has served on the ASE Board of Governors since 2013 and was named the Chairman in 2022. They both have enhanced their business by attending training throughout the years as avid lifelong learners.


They have spent their lives as Boulder residents and business owners and have raised their family here. They are committed to their community and truly care about their customers, employees and the environment. 

Meet Our General Manager

MEET OUR GENERAL MANAGER

As the front man for Pellman’s for over 21 years, Dan Levin has become almost as well known to Pellman’s customers as Brad & Lisa Pellman themselves!


Dan is no stranger to being a frontman. For several years, he performed locally with two Colorado-based bands, Airtight Experiment and Fina Dupa.


Working with people and helping fix things has always been a driving interest in Dan’s life. Dan traveled Europe after high school while searching for what it was he wanted to do. With a couple of short stints in college to study psychology and biology, he came to the conclusion that fixing people is hard but helping them solve transportation needs is fun and rewarding.


Dan was between jobs in 1997 and needed work done on his car. Brad Pellman, who was just starting his business, was his mechanic. Dan asked Brad if he could work off some of what he owed for the repairs. Brad agreed, and soon, Dan found he loved learning about and working on cars. As business began to grow, Brad offered him the role of Service Advisor.


It has been 21 years and Dan states “Being able to find a career with a company that cares about the community as much as Pellman’s does, is a blessing.” Dan isn’t playing in bands these days as raising his daughter with wife Torii is his first priority. But being a part of Pellman’s gives him that interaction with the community that he loves. Many customers are as much friends these days as they are clients.
