Wheel Alignment Inspection

Wheel Alignment Inspection - Recommended every 10,000 miles or at least once a year

Service Includes: Road test vehicle; Perform complete steering & suspension inspection; Check & adjust tire pressure; Check all alignment angles for front wheels; Check rear wheels against manufacture specifications to recommend necessary adjustments.

In its most basic form, a wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is maximum tire life and a vehicle that tracks straight and true when driving along a straight and level road.

Why: Misaligned wheels are a result of normal wear and tear. They'll cause your vehicle to pull to one side, reduce your steering performance, reduce gas mileage and ultimately accelerate the wearing of your tires. Proper wheel alignment increases tire life and maintains steering and braking performance.

How important is wheel alignment?

Think of it this way: Research shows that the average car is driven about 12,000 miles per year. A car with toe alignment just 0.34 degrees (Just 0.17 inches) out of specification has dragged its tires sideways for more than 68 miles by the end of the year!

Have your car checked if, when driving on a level road, you notice:

  • Excessive or uneven tire wear
  • Steering wheel pulling to the left or right
  • Feeling of looseness or wandering
  • Steering wheel vibration or shimmy
  • Steering wheel is not centered when car is moving straight ahead
